Kitchen Staff Ranch

Responsibilities

The Kitchen Staff provides a general level of assistance with kitchen management and assigned outdoor areas. This includes preparation of food, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of dishes, kitchen area, kitchen equipment and food storage facilities. This role provides assistance to the Chef 2 with overall cleanliness of designated areas and kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• Clean dishes, cooking equipment, and food storage areas in accordance with food safety
• regulations; also includes inside equipment and outside BBQ pits.
• Assist chef with prep cook activities and menu items needed; this includes measuring recipes,
• butchering of exotic game animals and working directly with the chef on menu items and specials.
• Maintain kitchen and other designated area floors clean, free of debris, trash cans and dispose
• refuse on a regular basis.
• Assist with the unloading of deliveries.
• Maintain storage of supplies and ingredients in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Assist with monitoring inventory.
• Outside cleaning duties, including the porch, light fixtures, hanging flags; on occasion other items.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• 2 years' experience in food service is preferred.
• Technical school or an applicable skilled trade program preferred.
