SUMMARY: Coordinate the resources, specific quality and related processes for the manufacturing/production departments. Insure that quality parameters are met for manufactured products. Continually upgrade, change, and improve the manufacturing processes, material processes, and other improvements in quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
General Management
- Supervises QA team with oversight by QA Manager.
- Administers the structure and processes necessary to manage the current activities and its projected growth related to raw materials, production quality, packaging, and project implementation.
- Responsible for execution of Food Safety, HACCP, FDA and labeling policies.
- Insures that all production and packaging areas meet and exceed all GMP’s and food safety requirements.
- Responsible for regulatory compliance as it pertains to Manufacturing and Warehouse.
- Manages department when QA Manager is absent.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety rules as stated in the Employee Handbook and otherwise posted or communicated.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Compensation:
The starting salary for this position is $45,000, with final compensation based on experience and qualifications.
