Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Prince George, VA is seeking three full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a contract position spanning the full school year. These openings are available for both in-person and virtual SLPs, with an emphasis on providing teletherapy services when applicable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students across grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to monitor student progress
- For virtual SLPs: supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as required
Qualifications:
- Current SLP licensure and certification appropriate for school-based practice
- Experience with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery preferred
- Ability and willingness to supervise SLPA when providing virtual services
- Familiarity with working in a K-12 educational setting
- Open to candidates utilizing VOCO therapy systems and methods
Location: Prince George, VA (Remote teletherapy options available with supervision responsibilities)
Duration: Contract position for the full academic school year (NSY)
