• EverHeart Hospice is celebrating its 42nd year in operation.
• EverHeart Hospice is a legacy non-profit hospice.
• EverHeart Hospice employs over 100 staff members, including physicians, nurse practitioners, RNs, LPNs, aides, board certified Music Therapists, licensed Social Workers, bereavement support specialists, chaplains, office staff and more in both our Ohio and Indiana agencies.
• We have served patients from 3 days of age up to 100+ years of age.
• EverHeart Hospice was a pioneer in the hospice movement in the United States. The agency was the first rural-based hospice in the United States serving an all-rural population. The agency remains a pioneer by providing new, comprehensive services to patients and families.
• EverHeart Hospice has served over 11,000 patients in the agency’s history of over a quarter of a century of service.
• Approximately 120 patients are cared for on a daily basis.
• Throughout our service area EverHeart Hospice has served patients and families in approximately 11 counties in western Ohio and eastern Indiana. Boundaries are flexible.
• As a non-profit, locally based agency, EverHeart Hospice devotes funds to patient care and expansion of programs and services for our communities.
• Camp Encourage is a camp for children designed to help youth deal with grief and loss issues. The annual camp serves between 40 and 50 children annually.
• As a non-profit agency, EverHeart Hospice relies on community financial support to help with program and service expenses.
