We prepare delicious meals for you daily!/li liGreat workplace culture � we have fun doing what we love!/li /ul pstrongPRINCIPLE DUTIES:/strong/p ul liPerforms general laundry duties including washing, ironing, folding, sorting, etc. of clothing and linens./li liPicks up and delivers laundry to the Resident�s, kitchens, pool, therapy rooms, beauty salon and health center, as directed./li liEnsures that the laundry is maintained in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition./li liReplenishes laundry chemicals as needed./li liProperly utilizes all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during sorting and loading process and when handling contaminated linens./li liLabels new linen for guest rooms, therapy rooms, massage rooms, beauty salon, rollaway beds, etc./li liMaintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition, including supply closets./li liAttends daily shift kick-off meeting and participates in daily stretches./li liAssist other co-workers as assigned./li liProtects Community property/equipment and makes sure there are no defects./li liNotify supervisors on any damages, deficits and disturbances./li liDeal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience./li liObserves and notifies Supervisor about noticeable changes in a Resident�s health, demeanor or disposition./li liOther duties as assigned by Department Director./li /ul pstrongQUALIFICATIONS:/strong/p ul liPrevious commercial laundry experience preferred/li liAbility to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic./li liAttention to detail./li liGood interpersonal and communication skills./li liMust be self-directed and motivated./li /ul pstrongWhy you�ll love University Village Thousand Oaks:/strong/p pUniversity Village Thousand Oaks is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) offering a variety of villas and apartment homes to hundreds of residents.
