pspanWe are seeking a skilled and experiencedstrongnbsp;Fireproofer/strongnbsp;to join our team./span/p pspanstrongPay: $24.00 per hour/strong/span/p pspanstrongKey Responsabilities:/strong/span/p ul lispanApply fireproofing materials to structural steel and other surfaces in accordance with specifications and safety standards./span/li lispanPrepare surfaces for fireproofing by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary./span/li lispanMix and apply fireproofing materials using spray, trowel, or brush techniques./span/li lispanInspect completed work to ensure proper application and adherence to safety regulations./span/li lispanMaintain and clean equipment and tools used in fireproofing applications./span/li lispanFollow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment./span/li lispanCollaborate with team members and other trades to ensure project completion within deadlines./span/li lispanRead and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders./span/li /ul pnbsp;/p pspanstrongPreferred Qualifications:/strong/span/p ul lispanProven experience as a Fireproofer or in a similar role./span/li lispanKnowledge of fireproofing materials, methods, and safety regulations./span/li lispanAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings./span/li lispanStrong attention to detail and quality workmanship./span/li lispanAbility to work independently and as part of a team./span/li lispanGood physical condition and stamina to perform manual labor./span/li lispanValid driver’s license and reliable transportation./span/li lispanCertification in fireproofing or a related field is a plus./span/li /ul pbrspanstrongPhysical Demands:/strong/spanbrbrspanWhile working, the employee will use their hands and arms, stand, walk, and may need to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. They may also occasionally sit, climb, or balance. The job involves lifting and moving objects up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds frequently, and occasionally moving objects over 100 pounds.
