Located on the 4supth/sup floor of the Poole building, the lab features stunning views of La Jolla, state-of-the-art equipment and digital pathology workflows. /span/ppspanThe responsibilities of the Histology Supervisor include:/span/pullispanResponsible for oversight of the activities and functions of the Histology department./span/lilispanProvides functional expertise to staff and leadership./span/lilispanAssists in the laboratory and provides troubleshooting assistance when needed./span/lilispanEnsures effective use of system resources./span/lilispanParticipates in standards of practice and process improvement activities./span/lilispanParticipates in hiring, oversees daily productivity, and creates staffing schedule./span/lilispanEnsures policy and procedures are followed by staff./span/lilispanMay cover bench as needed./span/li/ulpspanspan#LI-EE1/span/span/pbr pspanstrongRequired Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:/strong/span/pullispan4 years of histology laboratory experience /spanbrbrbr /li/ulpspanstrongPreferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:/strong/span/pullispanQIHC(ASCP)./span/lilispanBachelor's degree/span/lilispanHT(ASCP) or HTL(ASCP)/span/li/ul
