Diagnoses and records individual rhythm strips on all patients’ charts after calculating rate, rhythm and interval measurements. Maintains continuous shift record of heart rate changes, ectopic beats, alarms status, intravenous anti-arrhythmic therapies and other pertinent data. Completes a written and verbal SBAR report at the end of each shift. Maintains patient census and data sheets, prepares records for transfer. Maintains adequate monitoring stock supplies. Performs other duties as assigned by the charge nurse.br //span/pp style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt; line-height: 107%; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;"The Patient Care Tech provides direct support to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), ensuring the delivery of high-quality care in a safe and efficient manner. This role includes assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring patient conditions, and performing routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and supporting patient transport.
