This position is a night shift position 7pm-7am on a 2/2/3 rotating schedule (working every other weekend)./strong/p ul listrongWeekly pay starting at $23.85 per hour./strong/li listrongAdditional $3.00 shift differential for night shifts./strong/li listrongBenefits (medical, dental, vision, and 401k with match) effective on day one!/strong/li /ul pThe Operator is responsible for operating a given number of plastic blow molding machines (including in-line equipment), and makes necessary adjustments or minor repairs to ensure production of containers is made in a safe, efficient and high quality manner. The primary duties of an Operator include:/p ul liUnderstands, follows and enforces all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures and recognized practices./li liUnderstands, follows and enforces all established policies, procedures and recognized practices./li liParticipate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned/li liOperate a group of plastic blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment producing a container in a safe and high quality method./li liParticipate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned./li liPerform and/or assists in mold, insert and color changes on the line./li liPerform basic processing of injection and/or blow molding machines to improve machine efficiency and reduce scrap./li liPerform tasks and responsibilities of any Utility position during slow periods and/or as needed./li liMonitor HDPE/PET resin (if applicable), dryer, material handling and color systems for appropriate processing conditions./li liMake frequent on time quality checks on products being produced from established quality standards./li liAssist other Operators and maintenance personnel on mechanical repairs./li liPerform assigned preventative maintenance work./li liMaintain work area to acceptable safety and housekeeping standards./li liComplete and file all required documentation in an orderly and timely manner./li liCommunicate with the Production Shift Supervisor to coordinate production line support staff in accomplishing the lines’ objectives./li liVerify material usage per standards/li liPerform minor troubleshooting and programming on the line. Notify leads and supervisors of any major problems or questions./li liOperate equipment to minimize the generation and maximize the consumption of regrind, purge and scrap within customer specifications where applicable./li liProperly identify regrind and chunk produced./li liCommunicate processing information to designated personnel on incoming shift. Assist other Operators as needed./li liAssist in the training of new Operators./li liLimited travel may be required./li /ul p /p h2Qualifications/h2 pA minimum of 2 years in manufacturing required./p pOperators are required to interact with managers, employees, vendors, and customers. Therefore, the following skills and proficiencies are also essential requirements of the position:/p ul liAbility to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance./li liComputer usage and typing skills are essential./li liExcellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers./li liMust be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service./li liAbility to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices./li liCommunicates effectively: conveys facts and information clearly both verbally and orally./li liCollaborates well with others: proactively contributes to group objectives; volunteers to help others./li /ul h2Compensation Statement/h2The expected salary range for the position described in this posting is made in accordance with the legal mandates of certain jurisdictions within the United States.
