The Warehouse Trainer will be responsible for training on best practices and providing on the job training to employees. Also this person will have the opportunity to participate in scout assignments across the network as needed./p pEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/p ul liProvide on the job training to equipment operators and other warehouse employees./li liConducts training sessions for new hires and provides on-going hands on training to warehouse pickers and employees./li liComply with all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines./li liWell versed in all warehouse functions/li liAbility to plan and schedule tasks and handle multiple tasks at once./li liMaintains all training records for required regulatory purposes and mandatory internally required instruction./li liPerform work safely and in accordance with company and customer standards and safety regulations. Report unsafe conditions or accidents to the appropriate personnel./li liUnderstands various teaching methods and can provide constructive feedback, while maintaining a positive rapport with employees./li liConduct all monthly safety refresher training./li liConduct all post-accident safety refresher training./li liMust be willing to work off shifts as needed for training demands./li liWill also operate as forklift operator as needed./li liPerform other duties as assigned./li /ul pstrongOther Requirements:/strong/p ul liBasic Knowledge of training techniques, or job training./li /ul pstrongQualifications: /strong/p ul liHigh school diploma or GED./li /ul pstrongEducation and/or Experience Required:/strong/p ul liHigh School Diploma or general education diploma (GED)./li liAt least 6 months experience/li /ul pstrongLanguage Skills Sets:/strong/p ul liAbility to read, analyzes, and write.
