div h4Job Details/h4 divstrongJob Location/strong: nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;Family Health and Rehab - Wichita, KS/div divstrongPosition Type/strong: nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;Full Time/div divstrongSalary Range/strong: nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;$15.00 - $16.00 Hourly/div divstrongJob Shift/strong: nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;Any/div /div h4Description/h4ul liImprove the lives of our customers, especially the patients, families, and fellow employees./li liExceed the expectations of our customers as often as possible./li lildquo;Stay in characterrdquo; while performing job duties and interacting with customers./li liGive our customers positive, memorable experiences that they will remember for a lifetime./li liProvides C.N.A. duties as directed by supervisor and answers resident call lights as necessary./li liProvides restorative nursing to residents as instructed by the assessment of the RN, RPT and/or Occupational Therapist (OTR)./li liProvide showers to LTC residents./li liRestorative care may include functions of range of motion (passive/active), walking, splint or brace assistance, dressing/grooming, toileting, eating or swallowing, bladder retaining, amputation/prosthetic care transfers, communication, bed mobility and/or strengthening./li liCommunicates any changes in decline and process to the charge nurse, OTR and/or RPT/li liIs responsible for documentation of all care given/li liAttends nursing in-services as directed/li liFollow all established safety procedures and precautions when operating any equipment/li liReport equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to your supervisor as soon as possible/li liReport all unsafe/hazardous conditions to your supervisor immediately/li liFollow OSHA guidelines and facility policy and procedures for infection control/li liMaintain confidentiality of resident PHI (personal health information)/li liProvide privacy and dignity to all residents/li liMay be required to perform other duties as required/li /ul pstrongJob Summary/strong/p pThe purpose of the restorative aide/ Bath Aide is to provide direct care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON) and registered Physical Therapist (RPT). The Restorative Aide also follows the direction for the rehabilitation ordered by the physician. Always work towards allowing a resident to achieve their highest level of independence./p h4Qualifications/h4brpnbsp;/p ul liPossess a High School Diploma or equivalent/li liCurrent State certified nursing aide license./li liEmployee must demonstrate on an ongoing basis the ability to develop amp; maintain good working relationships with co-workers amp; other departments./li liEmployee must be able to perform in such a way to build good working habits amp; relationships among the staff that they manage as well as other departmental staff./li liHas attended a course for Restorative/Rehabilitation Aide and/or has had direct instruction by an RPT affiliated with the facilityrsquo;s restorative program./li /ul pstrongPhysical Activity Requirements:/strong Employees must be aware that during the normal, routine performances of the essential functions, certain body movements may occur naturally although they may not be a requirement of the job. The more frequent body movements include: standing, sitting, walking, handling, balancing, changing position, reaching, stooping, lifting/lowering, carrying, pushing/pulling, etc. The employee is required to use assistance (for example: mechanical lifts or request staff assistance) when attempting to assist, lift or carry objects over 25 lbs. Other body movements may occur naturally during the everyday duties of the position./p pnbsp;/p
