The company’s portfolio of brands includes Jack Link’s®, Lorissa’s Kitchen®, Wild River®, Golden Island®, Country Fresh Meats®, BiFi®, Peperami® , Mariani and Local Legends Meat Snacks./pstrongJob Description:/strongpstrongTitle: Material Handler 3rd Shift/strong/ppstrongSchedule: Friday-Sunday 6:00 am to 6:30 pm (Hours may vary)/strong/ppThe Material Handler is responsible for performing tasks involving the shipping and receiving of both raw and finished materials./ppstrongDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:/strong/ppThe duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:/pulliOperating mechanical forklifts, pallet jacks, and stock picker lift trucks./liliOperating and maintaining RF Scanner (handheld warehouse computer)./liliAccurate and timely selecting of customers’ orders #xa0;/liliAccurately completing work order sheets. #xa0;/liliWorking on both the Receiving and Shipping docks as needed. #xa0;/liliUnload trucks and validate deliveries against appropriate documentation, and notify supervisor or FSQ of discrepancies./liliUnload meat trucks and complete weighing and temperature review of each pallet and documenting each measurement. Notify Supervisor or Food Safety Quality (FSQ) of any discrepancies/liliEnsure products are correctly labeled and identified for proper storing and use./liliDistribute the items received to the person or department for which the item was ordered./liliDaily shipments must be picked, counts verified, pallets wrapped or stacked neatly for pick-ups, marked accordingly to customer, transportation and location of shipment./liliLoad finished goods onto trailer within specified timeframe./liliMaintain an accurate inventory of finished products and supplies in the warehouse./liliSafety Operate a Forklift, Pallet Jack, and/or Strait Truck/liliOperate Yard Spotter Truck (training provided)/liliFollow daily production schedule and achieve specified goals./liliFollow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) training, along with company pre-requisite programs, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP’s)./liliCleaning and maintaining warehouse floor and facilities as needed.#xa0;/liliPerforms other duties and responsibilities as necessary./liliFollowing set company and OSHA safety rules, regulations, and guidelines at all times/li/ulstrongQualifications:/strongpstrongRequired Education/strong: High School Diploma or GED, preferred./ppstrongPreferred/strong: #xa0;#xa0;#xa0;#xa0;#xa0;#xa0;/pulli1-3 Months related manufacturing or food experience, preferred./liliKnowledge of warehouse and lift trucks experience./liliBasic knowledge of supply chain, purchasing, materials, and/or Manufacturing./liliBasic computer, email experience ./liliKnowledge of SAP, preferred/li/ulpstrongREQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES/strong:/pulliExcellent attendance and dependability./liliAbility to work in a fast-paced environment./liliAttention to detail/liliWork well with others/liliWorking knowledge of computers and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office/liliExcellent verbal communication skills; must work effectively with others./li/ulstrongAdditional Information:/strongpemThe hiring range for this role is#xa0;$16.96 - $25.44#xa0;Hourly. Actual wages will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Link’s Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards.
