Manufacturing Team Lead - Third Shift - Now Hiring

The Gund Company has an immediate opening for a full-time Team Lead to join our team!

Shift: 3rd Shift 10:00pm - 7:00am Sun - Thurs. Training on first shift for 4-6 weeks 6:00am - 3:00pm M-F.

Hourly Wage: $26 - $34 /hour - Dependent on Experience

Shift Premium: 20% for 3rd shift

Job Summary Team Lead

As a Team Lead, you will play a key role in supporting production operations, ensuring that parts are fabricated to meet work order specifications and customer requirements. This includes operating and setting up various CNC and non-CNC production machinery, conducting manual assembly tasks, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Essential Duties Team Lead

• Be a technical resource for operators.
• Train and develop less experienced operators with the help of the Value Stream Manager (VSM.
• Complete work order paperwork and maintain high standards of quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Operate machines like saws, manual mills, lathes, presses, routers, and more.
• Conduct in-process inspections according to standard procedures.

Required

• A technical degree and 2+ years of experience preferred, or a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Intermediate math skills & aptitude.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Excellent ability to multi-task.
• Ability to professionally utilize email (Outlook) and Excel.
• Ability to use measuring instruments accurately and effectively.

Preferred

• Prior experience in a manufacturing industry.
• Prior understanding of an ERP system.

Work Environment Team Lead

• This role is performed in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
• The position may involve repetitive tasks and manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform manual tasks as required.
