Grounds Worker

Our client, a leading provider in the landscaping industry, is seeking a Grounds Worker to join their team. As a Grounds Worker, you will be part of the landscaping crew supporting various projects at mill locations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a dependable work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team environment, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Grounds Worker

Location: Sterrett, AL

Pay Range: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience

Shift: 1st shift

What's the Job?

• Perform general landscaping duties, including mowing grass and blowing leaves.
• Trimming, planting, and other grounds maintenance tasks.
• Assist with physical tasks such as building fences and painting.
• Operate landscaping and construction equipment, including lawnmowers and bobcats.
• Communicate clearly with plant managers regarding special projects at their mills.

What's Needed?

• Prior experience in comercial landscaping or grounds maintenance.
• Ability to perform physically demanding and dirty work.
• Skilled in operating bobcats, skid steers, loaders, and lawnmowers.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
