SCOPE OF POSITION:
You will work onsite at Conagra's Imlay City facility - home of the Vlasic brand. In the role of Maintenance Crib Attendant, you will be primarily responsible for maintaining records, issuing and monitoring parts and tools inventory in the maintenance crib. The Crib Attendant handles receiving of maintenance inventory for the organization. You will ensure adequate stock on hand to maintain operations. You will prepare maintenance "kits" for project work. This is an hourly union position. This is an afternoon shift vacancy, with an hourly pay rate of $21.96.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide listing of incoming parts and supplies (stocking shelves with necessary parts)
• Complete requisition orders using bar code information.
• Provide listing of charged requisition orders for appropriate departments.
• Complete paperwork and assigned reports.
- Computerized tracking system such as SAP.
• Maintain/update parts log for specialty tools kept in crib.
• Prepare clear and concise records to include reports and other written materials.
• Conduct semi-annual physical inventory of parts and tools.
• Work well with others and provide clear and positive directions
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Daily 5S responsibilities.
• Daily cycle counts, kitting and staging of parts and work orders.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Required to participate in PM Pillar establishment.
• Daily receiving and delivery of parts.
• Create and manage PM04’s.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Detail oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Reading and writing, analysis and comprehension, judgment and decision-making, basic math and clerical skills, problem-solving skills
Fork-Lift License – required
Ability to work independently.
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED – required
Proficient with MS Office suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - required
