Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Facade/Glazier Project Engineer to join our client's team in Queens, New York. This role involves overseeing the design and implementation of window and door facade systems, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring extensive industry expertise, strong technical skills, and a commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and review detailed construction drawings and specifications for facade and glazing systems.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs align with client requirements and adhere to industry standards.
• Utilize AutoCAD to create and modify technical drawings for various project phases.
• Conduct on-site evaluations to monitor project progress and address any technical challenges.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
• Prepare cost estimates and budgets related to facade and glazing components.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and safety regulations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain clear documentation and records for all project activities and updates.
• Participate in project meetings to report on progress and resolve any issues.

• Must have at least 5 years of experience in facade or glazing systems within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating and modifying technical designs is required.
• Strong understanding of window and door facade systems, including materials and installation processes.
• Experience in construction estimating and budget preparation.
• Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to address challenges on-site.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities when working with diverse teams.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations relevant to facade projects.
