WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse  for a contract assignment at a highly respected hospital in Salem, MA. This role is ideal for a clinically strong RN who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is confident caring for patients experiencing life‑threatening conditions.

Job Function:  \n

• Shift: 36 hrs/ 3x12 Rotating.
\n
• Manage the care of adult and/or pediatric patients with critical, life‑threatening conditions requiring rapid assessment and high‑intensity interventions.  
\n
• Provide emotional support, education, and clear communication to patients and families during emergency situations.  
\n
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, recognizing when early intervention is needed.  
\n
• Prepare patients for surgery, imaging, and diagnostic procedures.  
\n
• Perform essential emergency procedures including IV insertion, medication administration, blood draws, and airway support (intubation assistance).  
\n
• Maintain accurate  and timely  documentation in the EMR
\n

Job Requirements:\n

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Nursing experience
\n
• Active RN License
\n
• AHA BLS Certification
\n
• ACLS Certification
\n
• PALS Certification
\n
• NRP Certification preferred
\n
• TNCC Certification preferred
\n
