American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

- Hospital-based Labor and Delivery unit \n
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts (7p-7a) \n
- 36 hours per week, 3 days per week \n
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications \n
- May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift \n
- Uses Epic EMR charting system \n
- \n
- Active RN license in Colorado (Standard or Compact) required \n
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required, must not expire prior to start \n
- ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications as appropriate for the unit \n
- ASN required, BSN preferred \n
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery specialty required \n
- Epic EMR charting experience required \n
- No pending license allowed \n
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration \n

- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards \n
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for L&D patients \n
- Provide patient health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment \n
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines \n
- Promotes mission, vision, and values of the health system \n
- Returning employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment \n
- Allow at least 2 weeks for background check and drug screen results through a designated vendor \n
- Candidates should report for drug screening within 24 hours of commitment \n
