A large hospital is seeking an Urgent Care Physician for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Virginia.

About the Clinician's Workday

The schedule is Monday through Friday 8 a.m.8 p.m. and weekends 9 a.m.6 p.m., with a 2-on/2-off rotation that can be adjusted and one weekend shift per month. There is no call, and providers typically see 34 patients per hour, averaging 3648 per day. Responsibilities include evaluation and management of common illnesses and injuries, laceration repair, ACLS, and interpreting EKGs and X-rays (with radiologist overreads). The clinic is supported by a team of LPNs, paramedics, MAs, and X-ray techs.
