• Multiple shifts available: 7 am - 7 pm, 7 pm - 7 am, and 2 pm - 10 pm
• 8 - 10 patients per APP -- census ranges 17 - 21 total patients
• Full-service critical access hospital
• Covers codes outside ED -- no critical care responsibilities
• 4 - 6 admissions during day shifts, 5 - 7 during night shifts
• Population served fluctuates seasonally from 35,000 to 350,000
