Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Electrical and welding
Pay Rate: $28/hr.
Shift: TBD

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role will focus on maintaining and repairing production equipment, with a strong emphasis on electrical troubleshooting and welding.
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on production machinery.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and other automated systems. (preferred but not mandatory)
- Weld and fabricate parts as needed to maintain or improve machinery and facility operations.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure machines meet safety and operational standards.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery or upgrades.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance and welding in a manufacturing setting (food manufacturing experience a plus).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
- Proficiency in MIG/TIG welding and basic metal fabrication.
- Understanding of industrial electrical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards is preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various temperatures
- Punctual, with good attendance
- Able to work overtime and some weekends
