Fletcher Wakefield Design Studio is seeking a highly motivated and personable Studio Assistant to join our dynamic team at our Stamford Design Center. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone eager to begin a career in the interior design industry and grow within our firm.
We are looking for an energetic, organized, and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about design and excited to learn the ins and outs of the trade. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Placing sample orders with vendors
- Tagging and organizing merchandise
- Managing shipping and receiving
- Maintaining the fabric sample library
- Coordinating vendor appointments
- Assisting design staff with day-to-day tasks
- Greeting and assisting clients in the studio
- Ordering office and studio supplies
- Social Media
- Strong interest in interior design and home furnishings
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to take initiative and work both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; familiarity with design software is a plus
- Must be able to lift and move materials as needed
