Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Interventional Radiology Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab, along with proficiency in moderate sedation. Key Responsibilities

• Scrubbing and circulating during interventional procedures.
• Assisting with a variety of procedures including but not limited to:
• Dialysis work (Permcaths, fistulagrams)
• Neph tubes, arteriograms/embolizations, Y-90, G tubes, TIPS, Inari cases
• Cerebral arteriograms, coilings, pipelines, mechanical thrombectomies, vertebroplasties
• Collaborating effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Adhering to all safety and operational protocols within the unit.

Requirements

• Must have: Previous experience in Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab.
• Moderate sedation experience.
• BLS Certification.
• Flexible and a great team player.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Neurointerventional Radiology.
• Vascular OR experience.

Working Environment

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 2 single plane (GE) and 2 biplane rooms (Philips).
• Number of Staff: 15 techs plus manager and Data/Quality Analyst; nursing support for each room.
• Patient Ratios: 1:1.

Additional Information

• Typical Procedures Performed: Dialysis work, arteriograms, neurointerventional procedures.
• Weekends and On-Call: Every 7th weekend; secondary call during the week.
• Guaranteed Hours: 91 Contract Weeks.
