Job Summary:
Join the premier publisher in the maritime industry as an Integrated Media Sales Manager. We are seeking an experienced media sales professional to manage and grow our Western Region territory. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in both print (magazine) and digital advertising sales to provide comprehensive marketing solutions to an established roster of clients while strategically developing new business.
You will be the primary point of contact for top-tier maritime organizations, including vessel operators, port authorities, manufacturers, and naval architects, selling integrated advertising solutions across our respected print publications and dynamic digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow an established book of business across the 11 western states and other key maritime centers.
Sell integrated advertising solutions, combining print advertising in our industry-leading magazines with a full suite of digital marketing products.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the maritime/marine industry.
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic outreach and networking, supplementing our extensive list of existing contacts.
Craft compelling sales proposals and advertising contracts that meet client objectives and drive revenue.
Meticulously manage client interactions, sales pipeline, and reporting within our CRM (Ad Orbit).
Qualifications & Experience:
Proven track record of success in B2B media sales, with specific experience selling both print advertising (magazine experience highly preferred) and digital marketing solutions.
Demonstrated ability to manage a large sales territory and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and proposal-writing skills.
Proficiency with CRM software (experience with Ad Orbit is a plus).
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
