An industry leading provider of automotive equipment (audio, navigation, video, infotainment systems, etc.) is seeking a Corporate Planning Analyst to assist in developing and consolidating mid-term business and profit plans for the automotive industry.

- Business-level Japanese language ability is a must
Requirements of the Japanese Bilingual Corporate Planning Analyst:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, or a related field
- Japanese language ability at a business/advanced level
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a corporate environment, involved in some combination of the following activities: planning, financial analysis, tracking & reporting, and project coordination
- Experience dealing with business objectives / KPI goal setting, (policy deployment) and project coordination
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information and understand business trends through professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities of the Japanese Bilingual Corporate Planning Analyst:
- Work closely with the Planning Manager: driving strategic initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency and profitability, and supporting departmental goals.
- Strategic Planning: Assist in developing and consolidating mid-term business and profit plans for the automotive industry, ensuring they align with the company's long-term goals.
- Analyze and predict financial, economic, and other data to offer timely and accurate information for strategic and operational decisions
- Leading Internal Activities to Achieve Profit Targets: Support internal projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and profitability within the organization, coordinating each function through company-wide and corporate-wide meetings involving internal and external parties.
- Facilitate company Hoshin-planning activities, planning and tracking cost control, and reporting results at multiple levels.
- Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Track and analyze the company's performance to provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Provide summary and detailed information to management for decision-making purposes, such as follow-up reports, presentations, status of target achievements, and necessary corrective actions.
- Departmental Support and Improvement: Provide strategic and operational support to different departments to ensure ongoing improvement and the achievement of corporate goals.
- Occasional travel: 10%-30% to other corporate sites
- Assist with other related duties as assigned
