Shipping Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our warehouse operations team. This role is responsible for checking in incoming shipments, inspecting product quality, verifying counts, shelving inventory, processing returns, and assisting with purchase order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips and purchase orders

• Inspect products for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report any issues

• Accurately count items and update inventory records

• Organize and shelve products in the correct storage locations

• Process and restock returned items according to company procedures

• Assist with preparing and fulfilling purchase orders

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners (training provided if needed)

• Work closely with inventory control and logistics teams to ensure efficient warehouse flow

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous warehouse, shipping, or inventory experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Basic computer skills for inventory and order tracking systems

• Ability to lift up to [X] lbs and stand/walk for extended periods

• Good communication and teamwork skills
