Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A dynamic opportunity is available for licensed and credentialed professionals specializing in speech-language pathology and physical therapy to serve K-12 students. This contract position, based in Gallup, NM, offers the chance to contribute to student development within a diverse educational environment throughout the school year.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current certification or licensure as one of the following: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC Speech-Language Pathologist - Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Speech-Language Pathologist - School-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) - School-based Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - School-based Physical Therapist (PT) - School-based
- Experience working with K-12 students in school settings is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and other service providers
- Commitment to providing high-quality, individualized therapy services to support student goals
Location:
- Gallup, New Mexico
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language or physical therapy services aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and treatment plans
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and adjust interventions as appropriate
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other staff to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight regarding student needs
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and school district policies related to therapeutic services
