Job Description
This position is a 1st shift role, with working hours from 7 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday. You will enjoy two paid 10-minute breaks at 9 AM and 1 PM, and a 20-minute lunch break at 11 AM. As part of a special project group, you will work approximately 6-8 months to align the plant with 5S standards, focusing initially on sorting and organizing by the September deadline.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate in teams of two throughout the plant to assist where needed.
- Lift up to 50 lbs and be actively involved in cleaning tasks such as mopping floors and cleaning machines.
- Tag old tools, tubing, cabinets, and other items with red (trash) or green (keep) tags, along with a review tag for further assessment.
- Attend daily morning meetings for project assignments and updates.
- Maintain a flexible and adaptable approach to work in a dynamic environment.
Essential Skills
- Experience in lean manufacturing and process improvement.
- Proficiency in cleaning and organizing within a production environment.
- Understanding of 5S standards and continuous improvement principles.
- Capability in inspection and quality control tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate tuggers throughout the plant.
- Fast learner and adaptable to new tasks.
- Willingness to perform cleaning and maintenance activities.
- Able to stand on feet for 8 hours a day.

Work Environment
This role requires being on your feet all day and being open to getting dirty. You will work in a fast-paced and sometimes chaotic environment, contributing to a significant project that will put the facility back into compliance with 5S standards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
