Senior Counsel - General Liability

Prominent firm with a national defense practice is seeking a Senior Counsel level Attorney for their growing Los Angeles office. Ideal candidate will have 8+ years of Litigation experience in one or more of the following areas: General Liability, Product Liability, Construction Defect, Catastrophic Injury, Wrongful Death, Transportation/Trucking, Medical Malpractice, Premises Liability, Auto, Habitability, Personal Injury, Professional Liability, Civil Litigation, Environmental/Toxic Tort, Insurance Defense.

Responsibilities:

• Attend depositions, court hearings and mediations
• Handle cases from inception to conclusion
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs
• Provide status reports and communicate with clients

Qualifications:

• Pre-trial and/or trial experience
• Strong research and writing skills
• 8+ years of litigation experience
• Licensed to practice and in good standing in California
• Experience cross-examining plaintiffs and other fact witnesses desired
• Experience drafting discovery and pretrial motions

Base Compensation Range 200k-230k DOE+ Bonus + Benefits + Hybrid
