**Job Title: MRI Technologist - Night Shift (3x12-Hour)**
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a Night Shift position working three 12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00. This role is essential in providing high-quality imaging services in a dynamic healthcare environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform MRI scans on patients of all age groups, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Work within a Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center as part of Ebeid Children's Hospital.
- Operate MRI equipment with proficiency, particularly Siemens models, ensuring accurate image acquisition and adherence to safety protocols.
- Handle a daily caseload of approximately 40 patients, utilizing two MRI rooms effectively.
- Maintain patient care standards throughout various settings: outpatient, inpatient, emergency room, children’s hospital, NICU, PICU, and adult ICU.
- Required to start IVs and conduct phlebotomy as needed.
- Ensure compliance with the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, specifically Epic.
- Participate in on-call duties as necessary.
**Requirements:**
- Active ARRT certification at the time of application submission.
- A valid license to practice in Ohio is required.
- Minimum of one year of MRI experience in an acute care setting.
- Additional certifications: BLS and ARRT Advanced certification.
- Strong skills in MRI procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and advanced imaging techniques (e.g., diffusion imaging, gradient echo imaging).
- Previous experience with trauma cases is preferred, especially within a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma facility.
- Willingness to float within the hospital to various units as required.
- Must not reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
