Dietary Aide

Company Description: Mystic Healthcare is a 100-bed, family-owned skilled nursing facility in Mystic, Connecticut specializing in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. We are currently hiring a Dietary Aide. Come join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Providing dining service to residents, guests, family members and employees as needed.

• Prepare trays and serves food according to menus and following diet orders.

• Assists in maintaining clean and properly sanitized production and retail areas.

• Clean worktables, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers, etc.

• Sweep and mop floors as directed

Requirements:

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education. Must have "Serve Safe of Sanitation" certification.

• Be able to speak and write the English language in an understandable manner.

• Be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 40 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 4 feet.

• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
