Salary: $90,000-$110,000
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Description
The Manager of Accounting Services is the financial backbone of their clients, responsible for managing deliverables and ensuring that accounting needs are met seamlessly and efficiently. This individual will manage client accounts and project work, reporting, and execution of SOW’s. They will also oversee staffing & training, as well as coach, mentor and guide accounting staff in their responsibilities.
This is an “all hands-on deck” environment - completing technical accounting tasks will be required to ensure deadlines and client satisfaction. The Manager of Accounting Service's responsibilities are approximately 30% managerial and 70% client accounting deliverables. Here are a few of those responsibilities:
- Provide bookkeeping and accounts payable services for assigned clients
- Lead and execute on QuickBooks clean-up projects
- Review reports and financial data for accuracy
- Leading client onboarding & project management
- Manage multiple client relationships while providing top-tier financial services
- Manage a small, offshore accounting team
- Oversee bookkeeping, AP/AR, invoicing, budgeting, sales tax, and more
- Collaborate with clients, CPAs, and business owners
- Meet with staff and the owner to manage ongoing deadlines as they relate to monthly closing process and project updates
- Oversee 1099 process, reports reviews and Y/E closing J/Es
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
- 10+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online (8+ years) and related cloud-accounting technologies
- 2-5 years of related experience managing staff & multiple client deliverables concurrently
- Ability to follow proven systems and processes
- Strong accounting experience with background in financial report review and month-end closing
- Mastery in collaboration, communication, project management and complex problem-solving skills
- Experience functioning as a company finance or accounting team leader or manager
