CDL Class A Delivery Driver

J. Polep Distribution Services is one of the largest distribution operations servicing the Convenience Store Market in the Northeast. We are looking for exceptional drivers to join our team at our Scarborough, ME operations center.

With a starting pay of $32.00 an hour.

Drivers are responsible for safely and efficiently delivering grocery, tobacco, food service and other items to convenience stores. Routes are sent out daily and drivers are home every night and off on weekends.

Below is the job description for this opening:

• Deliver dry, refrigerated and frozen products to convenience stores, gas stations and other retail establishments. Products are floor loaded and delivery is made using a hand truck Service accounts by collecting returns, refusals and empty containers
• Operate a Class A Tractor/Trailer combination safely and in compliance with DOT and state regulations
• Communicate with support staff on any issues of delivery, product or collection
• Utilize on-board computer for management of driver logs, deliveries, and communications
