Warehouse Team Leader / Supervisor
The Warehouse Team Leader will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of a wide variety of refrigerants. Ultimately the team leader should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly, promptly, and safely.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversee receiving, shipping, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
• Setup warehouse layout to ensure efficient space utilization and ease of access.
• Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.
• Maintain company standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security.
• Manage inventory control and reconcile with data storage system and coordinate stock levels with corporate headquarters in Houston.
• Liaise with clients, corporate office, and transport companies.
• Plan work, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.
• Palletize, ship, receive, and verify all inbound/outbound freight.
• Handle and arrange all inter-branch transfers.
• Perform weekly cycle counts and periodic inventory counts.

Skills Required:

• Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor.
• Cycle counting / order checking.
• Expertise in warehouse procedures and best practices.
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
• Basic logistics coordination and oversight.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Obtain or possess an EPA Universal 608 Certification (company provided).
• Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, safety data sheets, operation instructions, maintenance manuals, and training materials.
• Lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and occasionally greater than 75 pounds.
• Stand, walk, reach, stoop, crouch, crawl, bend, twist, squat, and kneel in non-climate-controlled facility.
• Work independently or as a team leader.
• Be highly motivated, with keen attention to detail.
• Verify and accurately complete documents as required.

Other:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of related warehouse distribution experience.
• Must be computer literate and have knowledge of spreadsheets.
• Must pass criminal background check.
• Must pass pre-hire drug screening and be enrolled in our corporate random drug testing policy.
• Must have forklift experience and become certified as a forklift operator (company provided).
• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
