Weekend Delivery Driver (FedEx Ground)

Weekend delivery drivers needed! We are looking for a responsible, reliable, and safe Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers on Saturdays and Sundays . You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
. Deliver a wide variety of items to residents and businesses in the Ogden area
. Follow routes and time schedule
. Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle safely
. Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve client complaints
. Be able to repeatedly lift and carry packages up to 150 lbs. (hand truck available)
. Complete logs and reports, attend weekly meetings covering questions, concerns, complaints and safety
. Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

Skills
. Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
. Valid driver's license
. Ability to operate Delivery Vans/Trucks in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
. Excellent organizational and time management skills
. Good driving record with no traffic violations

Experience

Route driving 1 year ( required )

Job type:
Part time/Weekends. Full time positions may become available based on business needs and performance. We would like to start training immediately after a passed background and pre-employment drug screen.

Schedule:
Saturday and Sunday. 5 days/week if hired full-time.

Requirements:

- Must be 21 years old

- Must have a valid Driver License with a clean driver's record

- Must be able to pass a background check including pre-employment drug screen. Medical cards for THC are not acceptable as this is a DOT regulated position.

- FedEx requires all new drivers to complete a driver's safety course prior to being approved as a FedEx driver. This will consist of completing courses at home on the computer, an on road observation, and exams. I will cover the cost of this course.
