A health system is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage.
About the Facility LocationThe facility is located outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
About the Clinician's WorkdayThis opportunity is for a Board-Certified MD or DO to provide in-house OB/GYN call coverage. The shift options include 8 a.m. to 8 a.m. or 5 p.m. to 7 a.m. The role is inpatient only and includes weekend rounding. The facility averages 82 deliveries per month, with 416 considered high-risk, and approximately 35 GYN cases monthly. While the locum may be the sole provider on shift, backup is available if needed. Support staff includes midwives, with MFM available by phone and in-house anesthesia on site. The provider will be responsible for admissions and more than one provider may be accepted. Licensing may be considered for the right candidate.
