Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year at a K-12 educational setting in Highlands County, FL. This contract position offers a dynamic environment to support student mental health and learning needs throughout the academic year, starting in August 2025 and concluding in May 2026.
Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, developing intervention plans, collaborating with educators and families, and providing counseling and support services to students. The role requires working closely with a multidisciplinary team to promote positive educational outcomes for students across all grade levels.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid school psychologist certification or licensure appropriate for Florida.
- Experience in K-12 school settings providing psychological evaluation and counseling.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively; detailed caseload information to be provided.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with students, parents, and school staff.
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations and individualized educational planning.
Location: Highlands County, FL
This position is contract-based for the 2025-2026 school year and offers a starting pay rate of $50 per hour. Note that Voice of Customer Operations (VOCO) are not part of this position.
