Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time position is available for a School Psychologist to serve students from kindergarten through 12th grade at a school in Lake Wales, FL. This contract role spans the 2025-2026 school year, starting in August 2025 and ending in May 2026. The role offers the opportunity to work within Highlands County, supporting the diverse needs of students in their academic and social-emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement intervention plans
- Support students' behavioral and mental health needs within the school environment
- Provide consultation and guidance on best practices for student support
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and comply with district policies
Qualifications:
- Degree and credentials in school psychology
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
- Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and methodologies
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and professionally
Additional Details:
- No vocal assessments (VOCO) required
- Caseload specifics to be provided upon hire
- Position is contracted for the full school year
- Located in Sebring, FL, within Highlands County
