Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a ME or compact license and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.

• Hospital-based Emergency Department setting
\n
• Mid shift schedule
\n
• Float policy applies within a 25-mile radius between facilities as needed
\n
• Uses EPIC EMR system
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license (ME or Compact) required
\n
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
\n
• AHA-approved certifications must be completed prior to start (non-AHA certifications accepted for consideration)
\n
• Driver's License required for consideration
\n
• 2 professional references required
\n

Additional Information\n

• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (Maine or New Hampshire residents) will be considered local
\n
• Local travelers are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
\n
• RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract at the manager's discretion
\n
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this
\n
• Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage are prohibited on the unit
