Job Description Summary: MaineGeneral Health is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Per Diem Patient Service Representative (PSR) to join our team in Gardiner. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys flexibility and wants to provide exceptional customer service while supporting patients and clinical teams. Job Description: Key Responsibilities: + Welcome patients and visitors, ensuring a positive and professional experience. + Manage patient scheduling, check-ins, and check-outs. + Accurately verify and update patient demographic, insurance, and billing information. + Collect co-pays, deductibles, and other payments as needed. + Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct messages appropriately. + Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff to maintain smooth operations. + Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and MaineGeneral policies. Qualifications: + Customer service or healthcare office experience preferred. + Excellent communication and organizational skills. + Ability to adapt to changing schedules and work in a team-oriented environment. + Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus.
