The Office Assistant is responsible for creating a positive first impression for the Mead Mechanical to all callers and visitors. The position is further accountable for the efficient operation of Mead Mechanical's dispatching of service calls, ordering supplies, and other office tasks.
Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Answering phone calls and assisting customers with appointments and questions. Taking and distributing messages as needed.
  • Opening, sorting and distributing incoming mail and deliveries.
  • Performing general clerical and administrative functions.
Job Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience and physical ability to perform office clerical roles.
  • Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
  • Proficient clear communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience with Word/Excel/Google Drive.
  • Experience with Quick Books a plus.
  • Experience with dispatching service calls a plus.
