The Tax Developer 2 executes professionally, solves routine problems independently, and focuses their tax knowledge and tax application development work commonly within a typical area.

What you will do here:

• Develops cost-effective information technology solutions by creating new and modifying existing tax software applications. Including coding, testing, debugging and documenting changes.
• Research and analysis of moderately complex tax requirements.
• Solves moderately complex problems and trouble shoots issues with components within a reoccurring domain.
• Manages individual assignments and meets aggressive deadlines.

Skills you will bring for success:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or equivalent in tax preparation experience
• At least 5 years of tax application development experience or tax preparation experience.
• Enrolled Agent or CPA license desirable.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and fundamentals of research, design, coding, testing, and debugging. Plus strong tax knowledge in specialized area.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills required to work effectively within a team environment.
