Tire Delivery Driver

We are growing!! Freightliner-Western Star of Maine is seeking enthusiastic, organized, and hard-working individuals to join our team. Come and join a winning team that extends from Westbrook to Fort Kent. We are looking for a self starting, motivated individual to help our tire department deliver and pick up tires to/from customers. This position will be based out of our Bangor location.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver products to customers in timely manner
• Build and maintain working relationships with customers
• Correspond with customers through phone calls regarding deliveries and pick ups
• Examine and report all parts or materials picked up
• Correspond with tire department regarding deliveries coming in or going out
• Loading/Unloading consumer/commercial tires, parts, etc.
• Collect proof of delivery (photos, signatures, etc.) and payments on unpaid orders
• Assist with warehousing as needed
• Inspecting, protecting and maintaining company assets, merchandise, vehicles, building
• Represent the company respectfully

Requirements:

• MUST have a good driving record
• Valid driver’s license, CDL is a plus
• Ability to lift/roll tires and/or wheels as needed
• Reliable transportation or planning for relocation before starting
• Familiar with basic tire and wheel identification, experience preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend and apply common sense understanding to simple instructions, correspondence and memos
• Ability to write and comprehend information with fellow co-workers and/or customers
• Ability to follow written directions or GPS, this job requires driving specific routes daily but some new stops may be added

• 8-10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
