We are looking for an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Los Altos, California. In this role, you will support human resources activities across two community colleges, ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering a meticulous work environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to critical investigations and student conduct processes.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct investigations related to Title IX and Title V regulations, ensuring thorough documentation and compliance.
• Address student conduct matters by implementing appropriate measures and maintaining clear and effective communication.
• Collaborate with HR teams and stakeholders to provide effective solutions and support during investigations.
• Ensure adherence to legal and institutional policies while managing sensitive cases.
• Assist in onboarding processes and contribute to HR administration tasks.
• Perform background checks and manage HR compliance initiatives.
• Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate records and streamline employee-related processes.
• Support additional projects, roles, or vacation coverage as required by the organization.
• Maintain a business casual dress code and uphold high standards in the workplace.• Demonstrated expertise in Title IX and Title V regulations within California.
• Strong investigative skills with the ability to handle sensitive cases effectively.
• Prior experience in higher education environments, such as community colleges or universities.
• Solid understanding of HR compliance and supportive measures during investigations.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and familiarity with onboarding processes.
• Knowledge of conducting background checks and maintaining HR documentation.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work onsite five days a week across two campuses in a detail-oriented setting.
