Job Description

Staffing Inc. is actively hiring Brand Ambassadors for a 1-day event at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids. This role requires customer service experience, the ability to be on your feet all day, and a positive, energetic character to engage and hype attendees.

Brand Ambassador Benefits:

5:30am – 1:30pm shift

Brand Ambassador Responsibilities:

Guest Assistance & Flow: Help guests navigate the venue, directing them to their assigned seats and guiding the flow of people in concourses and seating areas.
Ushers & Announcements: Serve as an usher by welcoming guests, assisting with seating arrangements, and ensuring a smooth transition between event phases. You will also make fun, enthusiastic announcements during the event to keep everyone energized!
Crowd Engagement & Energy: Bring the hype! As a Brand Ambassador, you’ll be responsible for maintaining high energy throughout the day, encouraging crowd participation, and keeping the atmosphere lively.
Problem Solving & Support: Be proactive in handling any guest questions or issues, ensuring they feel welcome and taken care of.
Event Promotion & Brand Representation: Act as a direct representative of the brand, promoting the event and its sponsors with enthusiasm and positivity.

Brand Ambassador Qualifications:

Outgoing & Energetic: You have a natural ability to connect with people, make them feel comfortable, and keep them excited about the event.
Positive Attitude: You’re always upbeat and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that everyone has a great time.
Great Communication Skills: Clear and engaging communication is key, whether you're directing a crowd or making an announcement.
Comfortable in a Fast-Paced Environment: You’ll need to think on your feet, adapt to changing situations, and keep things running smoothly without losing your cool.
Team Player: While you’ll have a lot of individual interactions, you’ll also work closely with a team, so being a collaborative and supportive teammate is a must!
Experience in Hospitality/Events (Preferred but not required): A background in customer service, event management, or hospitality is a plus, but if you’re passionate and ready to jump in, we’ll train you! Customer Service experience required.
Professional behavior and communication skills required.
Must be able to speak English fluently.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
