Job Description
CBSI is a regional provider of product and services to Financial Institutions across the Southeast US. We supply, install, and service all systems related to Cash Handling, Electronic & Physical Security systems.
The service technician is primarily responsible for responding to service calls. The service technician will install, repair, replace and troubleshoot issues related to alarms, cameras, vaults, cash lockers, DVR’s, safe deposit boxes, locks, drive thru equipment, audio consoles, and complete combination changes.
Duties/Responsibilities
Handle assigned customer service calls promptly and effectively.
Communicate plan for the day to office staff.
Attend weekly technician meeting to stay informed of issues.
Assist with annual inventory count by counting inventory on truck stock.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment.
Order parts to complete repairs when necessary
Represent CBSI in a professional manner.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing.
Be able to prioritize multiple calls and meet established deadlines.
Ability to utilize a tablet to track service calls, enter time and make notes on calls.
Experience
Prior experience in a similar service role is strongly desired, especially within the banking industry.
Previous experience in the banking industry is preferred, but not required.
Previous experience with alarms or CCTV preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to drive for prolonged periods of time
Ability to work in various weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 100lbs including tools, parts and equipment
Ability to climb a ladder
Additional Requirements
Must have a valid drivers license in good standing
Motor vehicle record check is required
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be able to pass a drug screening.
