Position Description:

Design, develop, and maintain internal Edge web applications using Node.js and related technologies.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Implement security and data protection measures
• Debug and resolve application issues and vulnerabilities
• Design and implement database schemas that represent and support business processes

Other Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain API integrations with third-party services
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Node.js development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features
• Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express or Vue
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and its patterns in Node.js
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue)
• Experience with database technologies (MongoDB, MySQL, MariaDB)
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation
• Understanding of server-side templating languages
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Experience with automated testing platforms and unit tests

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Python, PHP, Symfony
