Job Title: Service Manager Pedestrian Door Department

Job Summary: responsible for overseeing daily service operations, ensuring the effective management of technicians, scheduling, and customer support for all pedestrian door service requests. This role is accountable for maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency while delivering exceptional customer service. The Service Manager will provide leadership to the service team, monitor performance, and implement strategies to improve productivity, profitability, and client satisfaction.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Solid technical knowledge of pedestrian door systems (Fire Door Testing)
  • Problem-solving and decision-making
  • Organizational and scheduling expertise to balance multiple priorities
  • Ability to train, mentor, and develop field service technicians

Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in service operations, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Hands-on background with pedestrian door systems
  • Experience overseeing preventive maintenance programs, service contracts, and warranty work
  • Experience with service management software
