Sr. Accountant

Yosemite Spring Park Utility Company (YSPUC) is looking for Accountant who has at least 4 years senior-level accounting clerk experience and is proficient with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook; experienced with Quickbooks; payroll processing, complex clerical accounting duties which require the application of independent judgment to situations where standard procedures may not apply. Must be able to prepare complex financial and statistical records; posting and balancing; prepare payroll and related documents; posts types requisitions, purchase orders, requests for payment and more.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Answering phones demonstrating excellent customer service
• Maintaining payment records and assist in taking payments as needed
• Special projects as assigned
• Perform or support AP/AR
• Responsible for payroll processing and records
• Process complex financial and statistical records
• Post to and balance accounts
• Prepare or assist in preparing financial records
• Post to GL
• Bank reconciliation
• May provide clerical support to the Board of Directors preparing agendas/minutes
• Set up zoom meetings

Successful candidate will have excellent communication skills in English with professional attitude and appearance and a commitment to good customer service. AS degree or equivalent in education and experience along with 4 years of Senior Accounting Clerk experience
