• Short-term ophthalmology call coverage with defined dates in November and December
• Level II trauma center with Epic EMR
• Variety of surgical and non-surgical cases including trauma and urgent interventions
Assignment Details
• Start Date: 11/3/2025
• End Date: 12/28/2025
• Coverage Type: Call Only
• Schedule: 24-hour beeper call, response time 1 hour
• Specific Dates: November 3-9, December 22-28
• EMR: Epic
Requirements
• Board Certified or Eligible in Ophthalmology
• Active NC license
• BLS
• Clean history
Clinical Details
• Scope: Ophthalmology call for assigned patients with trauma and urgent surgical needs
• Procedures: Open globe repair, eyelid laceration repair, canthotomy/cantholysis, drainage of abscesses, and other therapeutic lid surgeries
• Surgical and non-surgical care including laser and anterior/posterior segment procedures
Compensation
• Rates: Facility is accepting bids
